Our customers’ production processes determine the scope and design of the explosion protection system.
That is why there are no standard solutions. Each protection system is unique. The exCONTROL system comes fully equipped with a panel PC with touch display. This allows detailed analysis and maintenance of the protection system via remote access, too. Additionally we offer a version with LED display.
The exCONTROL explosion protection center is completely downward compatible. Our extinguishing systems and protective devices, which have proven themselves over decades, can be integrated and reused in a resource-saving manner. And as your protection requirements grow, exCONTROL grows with you. The system is modular and can be expanded at any time with little effort.

exGUARD
An explosion protection system has to be fast. Very fast. Explosion events must be detected within milliseconds. Now we have made our proven explosion protection system twice as fast as our previous system. So fast, in fact, that it pushes even measurement technology to its limits. This is achieved by the completely newly developed exGUARD evaluation and control module.
It evaluates the signals from the sensors and, in the event of an explosion, activates the protective units it permanently monitors. Up to three sensors of different types can be freely combined and logically linked. All relevant events are logged and can be called up via a color LCD display. The display permanently shows the operating status as well as the status of the connected sensors and protection units. The logged data can be downloaded directly at the device via integrated interfaces. Settings can be made directly on the module via six front-mounted buttons.
Full connection to the customer process: The exCONNECT relay module.
The newly developed relay module exCONNECT serves as an interface between the ATEX explosion protection center and the plant to be protected.
It provides the most important operating states of the exGUARD modules contained in the explosion protection system as relay contacts for connection to the customer process.
The state of the relay contacts is monitored (additional safety function) and displayed via five front-mounted LEDs.
